My reaction time has always been on the slow side. This makes me a bad driver and a slow decision maker. But now, there is a whole new side revealed to me. The goal is to be non-reactive. This is, I explained to my husband, different than being passive aggressive. This is about clarity and learning what I must do even when we bump into the hard edges of our marriage and we're each hanging on by our fingernails. Clarity. Sometimes.
